Hello Everyone

Its time to update you all on our Journey into the future. We´ve made our move to LA where we plan to be based for the next few months while we do our final shows for the Illumination Era.. We´ve just spent the last week doing shows with our buddies EMPIRE OF THE SUN over here in the US which were ridiculously fun although short lived! .

We plan to spend the last part of our LA months writing for the next album, hopefully after being inspired by all the freaks, geeks, colour and awkward charatcer of Los Angeles. We have some ideas of what it may sound like but its going to be an interesting few months while we lay down the basis for at least some of the next album..
Will we use loads of synthesizer? YES
Will we use more guitar? Yes
Will it still be dancy? Yes with more rythm than ever.
Is it time to get out of the bedroom and into a professional studio? we´ll see…
Will we smother the album with Piano house? God no..
Is Disco dead for the 3rd time? Never, but Disco is a dirty word.
Will aaron come up with some crazy sounds by recording the the voice of a small woman in a blender and putting a slow phaser over the top? Quite possibly.

I think both the writing process and the resulting album is definitely going to be something different to what the guys and I are used to but we have all learnt ALOT about music since the final stages of the last album as well as being inspired by completely different music to last time. I can only hope we succesfully utilize what we have learnt to make our best work yet.. We are all experimenting with new sounds and projects so who knows what you may hear come out of us over the next few months. We hope to have a fairly solid Album finished or close to finsihed towards the end of Next Year. We wont be touring so lets hope it happens!
